PaR nz December 2025 Blog
Kia ora all,
As we run towards the end of the year, we are delighted to share with you results and highlights from all our end-of-year activities.
Our last international tour for the year concluded in Barnbougle, with Eleanor Hodson (New Plymouth, NZ) and Peter Kesper (Twin Waters, AUS) taking line honours. Plans for a 6th Tasmania Tour including the new Seven Mile Beach Course are already underway, along with the release of a new adventure to Adelaide in October 2026. This will include rounds at Royal Adelaide, The Grange – East & West, Glenelg, and Links Lady Bay, plus a Barossa wine tour and time at Maggie Beer’s Farm for lunch.
Sponsoring once again the St Andrews of Hamilton Golf Club Christmas Cheer, we were delighted to award top prizes — a personalised, special-edition Titleist golf bag — to the team of Jean & John McDermid with Carolyn & Craig Stewart.
Next up in December was Kim hosting Round 3 of the PaR nz Millbrook Nett Medal — the Millbrook Resort is one of our favoured partners for many years running. Always a delight to be involved in anything “Millbrook”. Well done to Leanne Hobs, Jenn Bestwick, Michael Fleck, and Max Guthrie — winners and, now halfway through the six-round series. The next round will be played on January 23, 2026.
Paraparaumu Beach Links turned it on again with a cracker of a day to celebrate the PaR nz Christmas Cheer, hosted by Denise. More special Titleist golf bags were awarded to the four top place-getters in an individual Stableford competition. Aimee Jones, Jodine Bunn, Paul De Bernardo, and Kieran Flanagan won in their respective divisions, with best gross going to Lisa Herbert and Champ Ratanakarn. Paraparaumu Beach — still one of the best links courses New Zealand has to offer!
The PaR nz Team — Denise, Kim, and Nicky — were proud to host two charity golf days at Windross Farm Golf Club. The first supported research into a cure for Motor Neurone Disease, and the second supported the Susie Simcock Leadership Award programme, hosted in conjunction with the Black & White Trust.
Well done to Chris MacKenzie (Matamata), playing with Craig Maxwell (Windross), winners of the PaR nz MND Golf Day. And yes — PaR nz’s Denise won the hidden pairs with partner Jo Connolly (RAGGC) in the SSLA day.
Special thanks to everyone who donated so generously on both days to these very worthy causes. A special mention to Joanne Burt, who placed the highest bid with a $1,000 auction donation for the handmade Snakes & Ladders children’s blanket. This was made over several months by Kim’s aunty especially for the MND day — thank you!
At this time, we would like to wish everyone all the very best for 2026 — on and off the fairway. Happy New Year! Just two sleeps to go until 2026! It’s been a huge year in many ways, and we thank everyone who played with us, travelled with us, or even considered joining us on the fairway. We never take anything for granted — it is all sincerely appreciated.
Look out for 2026 and 2027 international tour releases, including Adelaide as noted above, a second South Africa tour departure in 2027, and BULA — a new Fiji event including Natadola and Denarau in June 2026.
And much more… 2027 tours being released …
Season’s best wishes
Denise, Kim & Nicky
