21st Millbrook Masters Supported by MORA Wines
Home of the New Zealand Open 2023 and our proud partner for over 21 years - Millbrook along with MORA Wines present the 2023 Millbrook Masters.
Set in the stunning Otago region with the Remarkables and Coronet Mountain ranges as your background - for first timers, wow! And for returning Millbrook Masters we know why!
The 2023 MORA Millbrook Masters packages include 3 rounds of tournament golf in carts. All transfers - airport and golf transfers are included with the accommodation package staying 4 nights in luxury at the 5-star Millbrook Resort, New Zealand’s No.1 golf resort.
An extensive social programme includes breakfast and lunches daily along with a welcome function and farewell prize giving dinner, local cuisine all matched with Akarua Wines. Daily and overall prize tables and a souvenir FootJoy tournament polo is included.
For the Millbrook Masters we will play the new Millbrook Coronet Course, Millbrook Remarkables Course and Jack's Point. The latest 2022-23 NZ Golf Rankings are out, highly rating these 3 championship courses #7, #10 and #2 in New Zealand’s Top 40, respectively.
Having only opened in January 2022, the new Millbrook Coronet Course designed by Turner & McPherson is receiving rave reviews. Coronet features some great elevation changes with tees and greens set on rocky outcrops, its 'shoot-through' fairways, hidden alpine lakes and craggy mountain backdrops are simply stunning!
The Bob Charles designed Millbrook Remarkables Course offers equally spectacular alpine views of the Crown and Remarkables Ranges but with an arguably friendlier layout than the Coronet Course. Remarkables (which is the combination of the original Arrow and Remarkables layout) features wide open fairways which meander through tarn-like ponds and tussock grasses. Clever pot hole bunkering creates for challenging approaches to each green.
John Darby’s Jack's Point opened in 2008 is one of the most stunning layouts in New Zealand. Based at the foothills of The Remarkables – the towering craggy edged range is a magnificent backdrop to almost every hole. Golfers can also take in views of Lake Wakatipu as they weave their way through the undulating foothills of this links-like course. A key feature of the course are the rock walls which frame many of the holes and often come into play off the tee.
The 2023 MORA Millbrook Masters competition format is 3 rounds of 4BBB – enter as any pairs combination. We welcome players of all handicaps, over 30 years of age. Millbrook Members, non-playing partners and golfers with their own Queenstown accommodation are most welcome as well.
The Millbrook Masters was one of the original multi-course challenges introduced by Denise & Kim, under the PaR nz Golfing Holidays banner. It is a stunning resort - one of our favourite golfing homes.
See you on the 19 November - Ka kite ano - see you later.
