Fiji | June 2026 – The inaugural 2026 Marriott Fiji Golf Invitational, held from 20–27 June 2026, concluded in spectacular style after a week of world-class golf, luxury hospitality and unforgettable experiences across two of Fiji's premier championship golf courses.
Presented in partnership with Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay and Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, the week-long tournament attracted 96 golfers, with more than 100 players, partners and supporters enjoying an exceptional golf holiday in paradise.
Competitors represented more than 40 golf clubs from New Zealand, Fiji and Australia, with participants ranging in age from 21 to 80 years and handicaps spanning 3 to 36.
Over seven days, players competed in five rounds of championship golf, including three rounds at the breathtaking Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course and two rounds at Denarau Golf & Racquet Club. The event featured Men's, Women's and Mixed Pairs competitions, all played under the innovative PaR nz Points System™, with handicaps recalculated daily to ensure exciting and competitive play throughout the tournament.
Widely regarded as one of the South Pacific's finest golfing destinations, Natadola Bay Championship Golf Courseprovided a spectacular setting overlooking Natadola Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Designed with the input of Fijian golfing legend Vijay Singh and golf architect Greg Letsche, the Par 72 championship layout is celebrated for its dramatic coastal scenery, with fifteen holes offering panoramic ocean views.
Players also enjoyed two rounds at Denarau Golf & Racquet Club, Fiji's premier resort golf course located on Denarau Island. Designed by renowned Japanese architect Eiichi Motobashi, the Par 72 championship course combines lush tropical fairways, strategic water features and a welcoming resort atmosphere, making it one of Fiji's most popular golfing venues.
Off the course, guests experienced a full programme of social events that showcased the warmth and hospitality Fiji is renowned for. Cocktail functions, hosted lunches, themed dinners and daily prize-giving celebrations created lasting friendships among participants, culminating in the spectacular "Something Celestial" Final Celebration Dinner where tournament champions were crowned.
Accommodation throughout the tournament was provided by two of Fiji's leading Marriott properties.
Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay offered guests a luxurious lagoon-side escape featuring iconic overwater bures, contemporary accommodation, award-winning dining, the Quan Spa, multiple swimming pools and authentic Fijian cultural experiences.
