Starting with home treats for the Kiwis – Kauri Cliffs and its magnificent Lodge and Cape Kidnappers with its luxurious, The Farm. Two of the best in New Zealand who have just been awarded the 2020 Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Award for the Best Australia & New Zealand Resorts.
Both Cape Kidnappers and Kauri Cliffs are regularly listed among the Best Golf Courses in the World. Cape Kidnappers is the product of legendary golf architect Tom Doak and is hailed as one of the great modern marvels of in golf. With cliff-edge fairways perched 140 metres above sea level and with a surface that remains firm and fast, this course offers holes unlike anything you find elsewhere in the world. At Kauri Cliffs fifteen holes have stunning views of the vast Pacific Ocean. Of these, six are played alongside cliffs which plunge into the sea.
