PaR nz Golfing Holidays, supported by the Sheraton Fiji, are proud to be hosting our two long standing golf tournaments – the Denarau Women’s Golf Classic and the Villa Teams Challenge. 

 

• Sheraton Fiji Denarau Women’s Golf Classic: Sunday 25 August – Saturday 31 August 2024

 

• Sheraton Fiji Villa Teams Challenge: Sunday 1 September – Saturday 7 September 2024

 

For the girls in 2024, we will mark our 20th anniversary of the Denarau Women’s Golf Classic. This is a significant milestone marking two decades of bringing women together, celebrating our golfing journeys and our commitment to having fun in the sun!

 

Back in 2003 we started with only 11 entries - this grew to 36 then 100++++ in subsequent years. The Denarau Women’s Golf Classic is a now regular sell out with over 100 entries each year and a return rate of over 65%. It’s been 20 years of wonderful memories – thank you for all your support, friendship, giving us thousands of souvenir photos and countless wild stories to tell in our old age!

 

We invite back all past players, past champions and if you are a ‘newbie’ invite your 'best golfing buddy' and come away to Fiji and help us celebrate our Big 20!

 

Stay on for the second week, and join up with your husband, partner or other playing mates – playing in the ‘Best Teams Event in the Pacific’! This will be the 24th annual staging of the tournament which started in 2000.

 

Both tournaments are a week of fun and competitive golf, playing 4 rounds in carts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).

Wednesday is a rest day where you can relax by the pool or enjoy playing more golf on the Natadola Bay Course. 

 

The extensive social programme is packed with activities including welcome, mid-way and farewell functions, all with drinks; and lunch at the golf clubhouse every playing day. All staying by the beach for 6 nights in 5-star luxury in your choice of the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort or Sheraton Fiji Villas. The Sheraton has spent hundreds of millions transforming their Denarau Island property – the result is stunning, it has a fresh, modern Pacific feel that reflects their new brand vision as “The World’s Gathering Place.” 

 

And, as in the past, each tournament has a ‘theme’ which will be announced in March 2024.
