FORMAT

Both Trophies, the Neil Woodbury Mid-Amateur Cup and the New Zealand Women’s Masters Shield, donated by the Women’s Trust Fund, will be awarded to the overall lowest gross winner, man and woman, over 54 holes. Additional Gross, Net and Stableford prizes by division and age will be awarded, the final split advised when entries close and the field is full.

In the event of a tie for the overall championship, those players tied will play off in a sudden death format as selected by the Championship Committee. All other prizes and places shall be decided by count back, of the last 18 holes, 9, 6, 3, and then 1. If still tied, the winner shall be decided by lot.

If inclement weather affects any round the Championship Committee may alter the format and the numbers of rounds played. All prizes 2021 New Zealand Men’s & Women’s Mid-Amateur Championships (published 24 August 2020) will be distributed in accordance with the Rules of Amateur Status.
