About PaR nz
PaR nz was started in August 2000 by Denise Langdon, who after corporate life at the top wanted to follow her passion for golf and travel. PaR nz has now grown to become one of the largest and most respected golf holiday and golf event companies in New Zealand and Australia with a fully integrated travel, marketing and events management team.
PaR nz owns a number of successful tournaments which are staged not only in New Zealand but around the world. Our golfer return rate is extremely high. Our clients enjoy the social networking, the professionalism of our tournaments, the competition formats and the support we gain from our sponsors to be able to deliver great value golf travel and event experiences. PaR nz works with NZ Golf Inc managing many of the national amateur tournaments. PaR nz contracts to many large corporations and charity groups creating and professionally event managing their golf days. See our corporate events site.

Denise Langdon
Denise is PaR nz company owner and director.
Denise contracts her professional golf services to NZ Golf Inc to manage amateur tournaments in New Zealand. Past event roles have included eight years with IMG and NZ Golf working on the New Zealand Golf Open. She was the event manager for three NZ Open's including the 2002 NZ Open where Tiger Woods played at Paraparaumu, Wellington.
Denise has hosted many PaR nz golf tournaments and overseas golf tours. Her engaging personality is part of the secret as to why our golfers keep coming back. Denise is the gun golfer in our team playing off an 8 handicap. She has been a North Harbour Rep and captained the Waitemata A Pennants Teams over several years. She was also a Board Member and committee Member of the Waitemata Golf Club.
She has a MBA marketing diploma and has held previously a range of senior marketing and general management positions with Times Media Group, Retail Traders Society, Philips New Zealand and AHI Hygrade Packaging.

Kim Buckley
Kim joins Denise as a PaR nz company owner and director.
Kim manages the corporate, charity and sponsorship divisions of PaR nz as well as developing new golf travel destinations. She has a background in food marketing and nutrition with degrees in Management and Science (Food Technology).
Kim still works with a number of companies in the food industry including her former employer BASF. She has a growing list of companies who are now asking PaR nz to manage their corporate golf days, charity golf days, incentive programmes and sales conferences.
She plays golf at the Waitemata Golf Club off a 12 handicap and is a regular A and Business Ladies Pennants player.
Previous employers include Coca Cola, Nestle, BASF and Carter Holt Harvey. Born in Australia, Kim is also working with a number of Australian clients looking at golf and travel into New Zealand, and to international destinations.

John Cooper
John Cooper is legendary in New Zealand and the South Pacific for his work in golf travel and golf publishing. John started the ISTAS Golf Travel business in 1972 and with wife Wendy, developed a significant golf following around the world for over 25 years.
John founded the South Pacific Golf Circuit in 1970 with the inaugural Fiji Open, followed by Opens for both men and women at Suva, Pacific Harbour and Samoa.
John was appointed in 1972 as Australasian representative and board member for the British Columbia Festival of Sports. He became publisher of the New Zealand Golf Magazine (now The Cut). He founded the American Express Two Under Club with 19,000 members, and partnered with Air New Zealand to create the ANZ Hawaii Open Golf Championship in 1982. He is a board member of the IFGA (International Family Golf Assn), and a member of the World Philatelic Golf Society,
He has a life membership at the Waitemata Golf Club, is a member of Royal Auckland Golf Club, Sanctuary Cove, Queensland Golf Club, Rarotonga Cook Islands Golf Club and has an International membership at Royal Colwood, British Columbia, Canada.
John's list of golf event and tour achievements is literally massive and can be read in his book "If you were the only girl in the world - John Cooper - A golf story".
While semi-retired John is still an active board member of PaR nz Golfing Holidays.

Wendy Cooper
Wendy was the glue and office manager for the ISTAS golf company and also part of the dynamic Cooper duo.
Wendy joined John at ISTAS in 1976 and immediately took over the office management and accounting having previously been with an Auditing office. Her office skills combined with her very happy personality endeared her to the many clients John had accumulated since forming the business in 1972.
Wendy has three ‘holes in one’ and has won her club championship, played pennants, and is still a very handy golfer. Wendy and John introduced the ‘Ambrose’ competition format to New Zealand in 1977. This event was founded by a Richard and Mary Ambrose from Michigan USA. Wendy is a life member at Waitemata Golf Club, a member at Royal Auckland, Rarotonga and Sanctuary Cove Golf Clubs. These days she enjoys her contribution to PaR nz as a mentor and consultant director.

Jenny Young
Jenny is our Inbound Tour Manager focusing on promoting New Zealand as a world class golf holiday destination.
She has travelled extensively and is therefore well experienced to discuss your various golf travel options and to ensure your next golf holiday is a memorable one.
Jenny has a strong marketing and consumer research background with previous work experience in a wide range of multinational and New Zealand companies, including Cadburys, SC Johnson and Auckland University. Jenny has an M.Com degree (International Marketing).

Shari Stapleton
Shari is our PaR nz Office Manager in charge of pulling all the details of our events, tournaments and golf holidays together to ensure we deliver the very best experience for our golfing clients.
Shari is the friendly voice behind the PaR nz phone line and in the office if you call in to see us. She is often assisting the team at PaR nz events.

Ellie Hope
Ellie is our new PaR nz Accountant who will be working with our team in the office 2-3 days each week.
Ellie is a great addition to our team, she is passionate about golf, playing weekly at the Waitemata Golf Club with husband Greg. She is also a past marathon runner too.

Frank & Sue Spurway
Frank & Sue Spurway have joined the PaR nz team as tour leaders. Both are well travelled golfers and spend their time living in New Zealand and Sanctuary Cove. Upcoming tours they will host include our Perth Tour in 2010 and our Augusta Masters Tour in 2011.
Frank & Sue are well known North Shore business identities and community supporters. They are also long time members of North Shore Golf Club.
